About Us

Since Connections (Gas & Electric) Ltd. opened their first showrooms in Wicklow St in Dublin in 1987, the policy was to offer top quality products at a fair price. We are still the Irish agent for two UK manufacturers who have been with us from the start; Multiglow Fires and Creative Fires, and have since added other quality products to our range. Products from the likes of Gazco, Stovax, Flavel, Verine, Kinder, Brosley, Vermont Castings, Bronpi, are displayed in our showrooms, a lot of them in working mode.

When we extended our business to include radiators, we again stuck to well recognized names, offering top quality products from well established European manufacturers. All products are tested and approved to the most stringent standards and are covered by lengthy guarantees. Again we have well stocked showrooms and are able to show our customers a balanced range of radiators, some of which are connected to the heating system.

As the economy grew, so did our customer base, we began to supply many of the development sites throughout the country. Our fires were to be seen in all the best show houses and in a lot of cases supplied as standard by the builders. We have supplied fires to many hotels, golf clubs and public houses; here are just a few of the places the public can go in and see our products: K Club, Glenview Hotel, Grange Golf club, Brady’s Bakers corner, Elm Park golf club, Brooks hotel, Royal hotel Bray, Killiney Castle hotel, Kingfisher Restaurant Enniskerry, Bray Golf Club, Foxrock Golf Club, Garda Club and Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club.

As the Tiger departed and the economy shrunk, we moved to our third showrooms in Churchtown Business Park where we have consolidated our operations and are working in a compact business park, adjacent to many other businesses offering home improvement products.

The original concept remains, we do not offer cheap and cheerful items from the far side of the world; we do offer quality products from quality producers.

You can see our fires, stoves and radiators, working in our showrooms and we will guarantee both the products and the fitting of them. We are still offering repairs and servicing to customers who bought off us over 20 years ago.
